For restructuring purposes, ELIT shareholders trade stakes

JAKARTA – Two shareholders of PT Data Sinergitama Jaya Tbk (ELIT) engaged in stock trading throughout last week for restructuring purposes. The shareholders involved were PT Delemont Global Venture (DGV) and Thomas Irawan Tjahjono, Commissioner of ELIT.
Astrid Erawan, Corporate Secretary of ELIT, stated that DGV sold 82.35 million shares in stages between 24-26 February. "The purpose of the transaction was for restructuring," she said in a disclosure on Wednesday (5/3).
The share sale was conducted in three phases. In the first phase, DGV sold 51.42 million shares at IDR 247 per share, followed by selling 2.35 million shares at IDR 280 per share in the second phase, and 28.51 million shares at IDR 251 per share in the third phase.
On Wednesday (26/2), one of the shareholders of ELIT repurchased 82.35 million shares at IDR 248 per share, amounting to a total value of IDR 20.42 billion.
At the same time, Thomas Irawan Tjahjono, Commissioner of ELIT, sold 82.35 million shares at IDR 248 per share. His ownership decreased by 4.05% to 0.86% (17.43 million shares) from 4.91% (99.79 million shares). (LK/ZH)
