BSDE to repay maturing debt in April 2025, check out BSDE shares

JAKARTA – PT Bumi Serpong Damai Tbk (BSDE) is preparing funds to repay bonds and sukuk ijarah maturing on April 7, 2025. The total principal amount of these debt instruments is IDR 610.75 billion.
In a disclosure quoted on Wednesday (5/3), Ricardo Arif Dharmawan, Corporate Secretary of BSDE, stated that the company has earmarked funds to repay the principal and interest of the 12th phase of its Sustainable Bonds III Stage I 2022 Series A and Sustainable Sukuk Ijarah Stage I 2022.
The principal of the bonds and sukuk ijarah amounts to IDR 547.25 billion and IDR 63.50 billion, respectively, with an interest rate of 6.75% per year. These debt instruments were issued on 8 April 2022 and will mature on April 7, 2025.
The issuer’s ability to settle both debt instruments is reflected in the financial statements as of September 2024. BSDE held cash and cash equivalents amounting to IDR 8.07 trillion. Current assets were recorded at IDR 27.45 trillion, while short-term liabilities amounted to IDR 13.34 trillion.
In addition, the issuer achieved pre-sales (marketing sales) of IDR 9.72 trillion in 2024, a 2% increase from the 2023 realisation of IDR 9.50 trillion.
As of the close of trading on Wednesday (5/3), BSDE's stock price rose by 0.60% or IDR 5 to IDR 845 per share. Over the past week, the stock price has decreased by 3.43% or IDR 30, and over the past month, it has fallen by 9.63% or IDR 90 per share.
