JAKARTA – Ahead of the peak travel season for Eid 2025 (1446 H), PT Garuda Indonesia Tbk (GIAA) and its subsidiary, PT Citilink Indonesia, have prepared a total of 1.9 million seats. This marks the largest capacity GIAA has offered in the past three years.

The available seats include 1.03 million seats from 5,710 Garuda Indonesia flights and 903,000 seats from 5,196 Citilink flights.

To meet the high demand on popular routes, GIAA has also arranged 341 additional flights, comprising 315 extra flights for Garuda Indonesia and 26 for Citilink.

Ade R. Susardi, Commercial Director of Garuda Indonesia, highlighted that this effort aligns with the growing air travel sector and the public's need for comfortable journeys during Eid.

"Eid is a special moment for families to reunite. We are committed to ensuring optimal air travel accessibility throughout the 2025 Eid holiday period," he stated at the Ministry of SOEs on Thursday (6/3). (EF/ZH)
