JAKARTA – Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) is monitoring unusual market activity (UMA) in the share price movements of three listed companies.

In a disclosure of information on Friday (7/3), Yulianto Aji Sadono, Head of the IDX’s Transaction Supervision Division, stated that the UMA announcement does not necessarily indicate a violation of capital market regulations.

The three issuers on the UMA radar include PT Andalan Sakti Primaindo Tbk (ASPI) and PT Indomobil Multi Jasa Tbk (IMJS), which are associated with unusual price increases, as well as PT Fortune Indonesia Tbk (FORU), due to an abnormal price drop.

As of the trading session at 11:30 WIB on Friday (7/3), ASPI’s share price rose 4.84%, or IDR 12, to IDR 260. Over the past week, its price surged by 126.09%, or IDR 145, and within a month, it soared by 116.67%, or IDR 140.

For IMJS, its share price increased by 6.19%, or IDR 12, to IDR 206 per share. Over the past week, its shares skyrocketed by 28.75%, or IDR 46, and in a month, they jumped 47.14%, or IDR 66.

Meanwhile, FORU’s shares plunged 24.62%, or IDR 480, to IDR 1,470. Over the past week, its shares corrected by 46.55%, or IDR 1,280, and in a month, they dropped 56.51%, or IDR 1,190 per share.

Yulianto Aji Sadono stated that the IDX is closely observing the transaction patterns of the listed companies’ shares. Investors are advised to pay attention to several factors, including issuers’ responses to the stock exchange’s request for confirmation, the performance and disclosure of information from each listed company, and issuers’ corporate action plans if those plans have not yet received approval from the General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS).
