JAKARTA – PT Bumi Serpong Damai Tbk (BSDE) is optimistic it can achieve a pre-sales target of IDR 10 trillion in 2025, supported by the Indonesian government’s policies encouraging the housing sector.

Hermawan Wijaya, Director of BSDE, believes the property industry will continue to grow in 2025. This confidence is based on the company’s performance last year and the government’s attention to the housing sector.

“We are optimistic about the prospects for the property industry, especially with Bank Indonesia’s recent interest rate cut, which we believe will still provide additional stimulus for consumer demand,” said Hermawan in an official statement.

Previously, in 2024, BSDE recorded pre-sales of IDR 9.72 trillion, with the residential segment contributing IDR 5.40 trillion or 56%. This realisation exceeded the pre-sales target of IDR 9.5 trillion and grew by 2% compared to 2023.

Herry Hendarta, Deputy Group CEO of Strategic Development & Assets at Sinar Mas Land, added that BSDE’s innovative strategy in 2025 includes property development through portfolio diversification and project expansion. (DH/KR/ZH)
