BEI lifts suspension on BESS after 7-day halt

JAKARTA – Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) will lift the trading suspension on PT Batulicin Nusantara Maritim Tbk (BESS) next week (10/3) after a 7-day halt. The company’s stock trading was temporarily suspended on Thursday (27/2).
In a disclosure on Friday (7/3), Yulianto Aji Sadono, Head of Transaction Supervision Division at BEI, stated that the suspension of BESS shares in both the regular and cash markets will be lifted starting from the first trading session.
One day before the suspension (26/2), the company’s stock price surged by IDR 95 to IDR 880 per share, with a trading volume of 3.71 million shares across 1,880 transactions worth IDR 3.15 billion.
Over the past month, BESS shares skyrocketed by 86.44% or IDR 408, and in six months, the stock price soared by 443.21% or IDR 718 per share. (LK/ZH)
