Fantastic foreign transaction volume, net sell of 312 million shares

JAKARTA – On Friday, March 7, foreign investor transactions on the Indonesia Stock Exchange once more showed a net sell. Foreign net sell transactions concluded at 312.01 million shares today, compared to 29.38 million shares on the previous trading day.
Both foreign buy and sell volumes surged by more than 200% compared to the previous trading day (6/3). Today, total foreign buy volume reached 9.67 billion shares. With foreign sell volume amounting to 9.99 billion shares, a net sell of 312.01 million shares was recorded.
Today's buy and sell volumes were significantly higher than those of the day before (5/3), where foreign buy volume stood at just 3.19 billion shares, and foreign sell volume was only 3.22 billion shares.
At 115.60 million shares, the Indonesia Stock Exchange recorded the largest net sell from PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) shares. A total of 174.25 million shares were sold overseas, while about 58.65 million shares were bought.
With a net sell of 100.21 million shares, coal mining holding firm PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) comes in second, followed right away by e-commerce company PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA), with 97.98 million shares. 28 million BUMI shares were purchased by foreign investors, but 128.21 million were sold. In the meantime, approximately 134 million BUKA shares were sold, and 36.01 million were purchased by foreign investors.
Foreigners sold about 70 million shares of PT Surya Citra Media Tbk (SCMA) today, but just 6.77 million were bought. This media issuer's net sell volume is 62.61 million shares. Finally, with a foreign sell volume of 85.70 million shares, the mining contractor PT Darma Henwa Tbk (DEWA) obtained a net sell of 49.36 million shares.
PT GOTO Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO), with a net purchase of about 160 million shares, is at the top of the list of companies to buy. With 7.91 billion shares purchased and 7.75 billion shares sold, this digital service parent issuer saw an outstanding volume of international purchasing and selling.
Furthermore, oil and gas tanker issuer PT Buana Lintas Lautan Tbk (BULL) and mineral mining business PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS) saw net buys of 64.23 million BULL and 61.53 million BRMS. Approximately 127.45 million BRMS shares and 67.91 million BULL shares were purchased by foreign investors.
Two issuers closed the top buy list: PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (TLKM), a telecommunications firm, with a net buy of 31.18 million TLKM, and PT Central Omega Resources Tbk (DKFT), a nickel mining business, with a net buy of 32.08 million. While TLKM's foreign buying volume reached 138.83 million shares, DKFT's own was 35.37 million. (KD)
