Medela Potentia prepares for IPO, learn its prospects!

JAKARTA – PT Medela Potentia Tbk (MDLA), a holding company distributing and manufacturing medical devices, is preparing to list on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) through an initial public offering (IPO) of 3.5 billion shares at the end of March.
According to the company's initial IPO prospectus, MDLA will offer 3.5 billion shares, equivalent to 25% of its issued and paid-up capital, to the public.
During the bookbuilding period from March 11 to 17, these shares will be offered at a price range of IDR 180-230 per share, potentially raising up to IDR 805 billion from this corporate action.
As a holding company, MDLA is involved in various lines of business, including the distribution of pharmaceutical products and medical devices in Indonesia through PT Anugrah Argon Medica (AAM) and PT Djembatan Dua (DD), as well as in Cambodia through Dynamic Argon Co. Ltd. (DCA).
MDLA also manufactures wound dressings through its subsidiary, PT Deca Metric Medica (DMM), and operates a B2B2C platform through PT Karsa Inti Tuju Askara (KITA).
After the IPO, MDLA plans to allocate 86.4% of the proceeds as loans and capital contributions to AAM, 10% to DMM, and the remaining 3.6% to KITA.
Based on the initial prospectus, MDLA's public offering will take place from 27 March to 11 April, with its shares set to list on the exchange on 15 April 2025.
The IPO will be supported by PT Indo Premier Sekuritas and PT Mandiri Sekuritas as underwriters, with additional underwriters to be announced later. (ZH)
