JAKARTA – On Tuesday, March 11, transactions involving foreign investors on the Indonesia Stock Exchange were still concluded with a net sell. If there were 1.11 billion foreign net sell transactions on the previous trading day, then the number increased to 1.87 billion shares today.

While foreign buying volume fell, foreign selling volume rose in comparison to the previous trading day (10 March). 3.07 billion shares were purchased by foreign buyers today, representing the total volume of foreign buys. Today, foreign investors had a net sell of 1.87 shares, with a sales volume (foreign sell) of 4.94 billion shares.

The most traded shares today are once again PT GOTO Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO)'s shares. Despite purchasing 1.43 billion shares of this digital service issuer, foreign investors also sold almost 2.80 billion shares, resulting in a net sell of 1.37 billion shares for GOTO.

A net sell of 97.82 million shares of mining parent issuer PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) followed. Around 143.35 million BUMI shares were traded while 45.53 million were purchased by foreigners. Foreign investors purchased 17.77 million shares of PT Darma Henwa Tbk (DEWA), but they also sold up to 86.36 million shares, resulting in a net sell of 68.58 million shares.

With a net sell of 41.75 million BUKA and 39.71 million BRMS, the shares of mineral mining issuer PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS) and e-commerce issuer PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA) ended the top sell row. Over 47.34 million BUKA shares and nearly 70 million BRMS shares were sold by foreign investors.

However, with 59.68 million shares, PT Buana Lintas Lautan Tbk (BULL) saw the largest net buy today. This oil and gas tanker issuer saw 28.48 million shares sold and 88.16 million shares purchased by foreigners.

With a net buy of 43.32 million shares, banking issuer PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI) came in second. A total of 114.86 million shares were purchased by overseas investors, while approximately 71.54 million shares were sold.

With a net buy of 26.85 million shares, renewable energy provider PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA) came next, followed by telecom company PT XL Axiata Tbk (EXCL) with 17.05 million shares. Both issuers saw foreign buy volumes of about 30 million shares.

With a net buy of 11.82 million shares, banking institution PT Bank KB Bukopin Tbk (BBKP) ultimately closed the top buy list. Around 11.82 million shares of BBKP are bought by foreigners, while only 100 shares are sold. (KD)
