JAKARTA – PT Wijaya Cahaya Timber Tbk (FWCT) recorded a net profit of IDR 69.43 billion in 2024, up 67.50% year-on-year (yoy) from the previous year’s figure of IDR 41.45 billion.

This increase in net profit boosted FWCT's earnings per share to IDR 37.04 per share, from IDR 22.50 per share in the previous year.

FWCT's profit growth in 2024 was supported by sales performance, which reached IDR 1.3 trillion, growing 38.29% yoy, according to its latest financial report.

Plywood products were the largest contributor to FWCT's sales, generating IDR 1.2 trillion. Veneer products contributed IDR 40.01 billion, while wood logs and raw materials accounted for IDR 64.3 billion in company sales.

Based on operating segments, manufacturing activities remained the largest contributor to FWCT's top line with IDR 1.24 trillion in 2024, while the trading business only contributed IDR 69.91 billion.

FWCT closed the 2024 financial year with a 15.79% increase in total assets to IDR 656.92 billion, with internal cash holdings of IDR 103.8 billion. Its total equity also rose 17.77% to IDR 335.04 billion. (DH/KR/ZH)
