JAKARTA – PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) or BCA has officially announced a cash dividend distribution of IDR 300 per share, amounting to a total of IDR 36.98 trillion for the 2024 financial year, representing an 11.1% increase compared to the previous year.

This decision was in line with the results of BBCA’s Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS), held today on March 12, 2025.

Previously, BBCA had distributed an interim dividend of IDR 50 per share on 11 December 2024, leaving the remaining dividend to be distributed at IDR 250 per share.

The dividend portion is equivalent to 67.4% of the 2024 net profit, which stood at IDR 54.8 trillion. Although BBCA’s payout ratio slightly decreased from 68.4% the previous year, the total value of the final dividend increased.

Jahja Setiaatmadja, President Director of BCA, reaffirmed the bank’s commitment to maintaining the upward trend in dividend payouts.

“We made a promise to investors that BCA’s dividend payout should increase every year in absolute terms, except in 2020 when the Covid-19 pandemic caused a 5% contraction in our profit,” Jahja said during a press conference held recently.

In recent years, BBCA has consistently raised its dividend distribution. In 2023, BBCA paid a dividend of IDR 270 per share, totalling IDR 33.28 trillion, while in 2022, BBCA distributed IDR 205 per share, amounting to IDR 25.3 trillion. (EF/KR/ZH)
