BBCA allocates IDR 70.22 trillion for Lebaran 2025

JAKARTA – PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) has allocated IDR 70.22 trillion in cash ahead of the 2025 Eid al-Fitr (Lebaran), representing a 4% increase compared to the same period last year.
In an official statement issued on 11 March 2025, BBCA management emphasised that this move is aimed at accommodating the high demand for cash, with the bank offering cash exchange services at various branches throughout Indonesia.
In addition, BBCA management stated that the availability of cash and optimal digital services are expected to facilitate the public in conducting their financial activities during Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr.
“Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr are always crucial moments with a spike in cash needs. BCA strives to provide the best service to ensure that people can easily conduct transactions, whether through cash exchange or digital services,” BBCA management wrote, quoted on Thursday (13/3). (EF/KR/ZH)
