Dua Samudera Perkasa invests IDR 57.09 billion, check TEBE’s stock

JAKARTA – PT Dua Samudera Perkasa (DSP) spent IDR 57.09 billion to increase its investment in PT Dana Brata Luhur Tbk (TEBE), yesterday (12/3). The additional shares acquired by DSP were purchased from South Bay Capital (SBC) Pte, one of TEBE's shareholders.
In a disclosure quoted on Friday (14/3), Ayu Yusman, Corporate Secretary of TEBE, stated that DSP added 114.19 million shares, bringing its ownership to 315.09 million (24.52%) from 200.89 million (15.63%). "The purpose of the transaction is for investment," she said.
Meanwhile, SBC sold its entire holding of 114.19 million shares (8.89%) at IDR 500 per share. Its shareholding became zero after the transaction yesterday.
TEBE's total outstanding shares are recorded at 1.28 billion, with controlling shareholders holding 39.31% and non-controlling shareholders 60.69%.
Following yesterday's transaction, the company's shareholder composition is PT Robust Buana with 7.32%, PT Prima Mineral Utama with 39.31%, Lim Oi Wah with 8.31%, DSP with 24.52%, and the public with 20.54%.
The ultimate beneficiary of TEBE shares is Roesbima Trisoera. With a total of 5,128 shareholders, the free float of TEBE shares amounts to 263.95 million, or 20.54% of the total listed shares.
The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) recorded a trend of rising TEBE share prices before and after the transaction between DSP and SBC.
Over the past week, TEBE shares surged 25.62% or IDR 155, and in the past month, they climbed 30.25% or IDR 180. Meanwhile, as of 2.24 PM WIB on Friday (14/3), the shares strengthened 8.51% or IDR 65 to IDR 770. (LK/ZH)
