JAKARTA – Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) ended Friday's (14/3) trading session in the red, falling 1.98% or 131.79 points to 6,515.63.

During today's session, JCI hit its lowest point at 6,514.69 and its highest at 6,653.32. The total trading volume on the exchange reached 155.73 million lots, with a transaction value of IDR 9 trillion.

PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) saw the largest trading volume today, with 2.55 billion shares traded. Meanwhile, PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) recorded the highest stock transaction value, totalling IDR 981.32 billion.

Leading the top gainers today were shares of PT Kedaung Indah Can Tbk (KICI) and PT Sarana Mitra Luas Tbk (SMIL), with KICI surging by 34.51% and SMIL by 24.86%.

On the other hand, PT Suryamas Dutamakmur Tbk (SMDM) led the top losers, with its stock price plummeting by 17.28%. PT Sanurhasta Mitra Tbk (MINA) followed in second place, with a 14.57% drop.

Most sectoral indices also ended today's trading in the red, with the sharpest decline in the Technology sector, which fell by 12.71%. The Consumer Cyclical sector was the only one to record positive growth, rising by 0.67%. (KR/ZH)
