ANJT targets 15% CPO growth in 2025

JAKARTA – PT Austindo Nusantara Jaya Tbk (ANJT) aims for a 15% year-on-year (yoy) increase in crude palm oil (CPO) production in 2025.
ANJT's Finance Director, Nopri Pitoy, stated that this growth will be driven by the rejuvenation of young plants and increased purchases of fresh fruit bunches (FFB) from external parties.
“We are optimistic that ANJT will continue to grow with the strategies we are implementing,” Pitoy said in an official statement, Sunday (16/3).
It is worth noting that ANJT’s CPO production performance fell by 13.5% in 2024, due to the effects of El Niño and extreme rainfall. However, the company, according to Pitoy, remains confident that it can reverse this trend in 2025.
By the end of 2024, ANJT had completed replanting on 12,635 hectares of plantation land, with more than half of the area already starting to yield.
According to data from IDNFinancials.com, ANJT recorded an 87.15% increase in net profit to USD 9.64 million in 2024, compared to USD 5.15 million in 2023.
This rise was driven by a 12.3% increase in the average selling price (ASP) of CPO to USD 822/metric tonne (mt) and production cost efficiencies, particularly from the sago segment.
Additionally, ANJT's profit growth was supported by the rapid performance of its edamame business. Revenue from this segment surged by 124.1% to USD 4.2 million in 2024.
In today’s first trading session, Monday (17/3), ANJT's share price rose by 4.85% to IDR 1,405 per share as of 10.31 AM WIB. (DK/KR/ZH)
