RAJA concludes divestment of 10% of RATU shares

JAKARTA – PT Rukun Raharja Tbk (RAJA) has completed the divestment of 10% of its subsidiary PT Raharja Energi (RATU) shares in two transactions. Most recently, RAJA sold 144.98 million RATU shares, equivalent to 5.34% of the company, at a transaction price of IDR 1,175 per share.
Yuni Pattinasarani, Corporate Secretary of RAJA, stated that the second phase of the transaction was completed on 17 March 2025. From this transaction, RAJA secured fresh funds of approximately IDR 170.36 billion.
Earlier, the first phase of the divestment took place on 5 March 2025 through the sale of 126.52 million shares, or 4.66%, valued at IDR 148.66 billion.
Following these two transactions, the total divestment has reached 10%, reducing RAJA's ownership in RATU from 80% to 70%.
Yuni emphasised that this transaction does not change RAJA's status as the controlling shareholder of RATU. “The company remains the majority shareholder, holding 70% of RATU,” she stated in an official release on Tuesday (18/3).
Meanwhile, at the close of trading on Monday (17/3), RATU shares stood at IDR 5,175, and over the past five days, its share price has fallen by 3.72% (-200 points). (EF/ZH)
