Bambang Brodjonegoro resigns from INDF

JAKARTA – PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk (INDF) has announced the resignation of Bambang Permadi Soemantri Brodjonegoro as Independent Commissioner.
Victor Suhendra, Corporate Secretary of INDF, stated that the company received a letter dated March 14, 2025 regarding Bambang's resignation from his position as Independent Commissioner of INDF last Monday (17/3).
The resignation will be effective as of April 13, 2025. However, it will be decided in the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders of INDF, which will be held no later than the end of June 2025.
Victor emphasised that Bambang Brodjonegoro’s resignation, the former Minister of Research and Technology/Head of the National Research and Innovation Agency (2019-2021), as Independent Commissioner will not affect INDF’s operations, legal status, financial condition, or continuity.
Previously, Brodjonegoro also resigned from his position as President Commissioner and Independent Commissioner of PT Bukalapak.com (BUKA) on March13 , and as Independent Commissioner of PT TBS Energy Utama Tbk (TOBA) on March 7.
The resignation is related to Bambang's appointment as Dean of the Asian Development Bank Institute (ADBI) in Tokyo, Japan. (EF/ZH)
