CUAN subsidiary buys PTRO shares again

JAKARTA – The controller of PT Petrosea Tbk (PTRO), PT Kreasi Jasa Persada (KJP), owned by tycoon Prajogo Pangestu, has once again accumulated 72.1 million shares or 0.715% of the company’s stock worth IDR 247.5 billion.
Anto Broto, Corporate Secretary of PTRO, stated that the share purchase took place on 17 March 2025, in two phases.
In detail, KJP purchased 7.1 million PTRO shares at IDR 2,815.1 per share, followed by the acquisition of 65 million shares at IDR 3,500 per share.
“The purpose of the transaction is for investment, with direct shareholding status,” said Anto in an official statement on Wednesday (19/3).
After the transaction, KJP’s shareholding in PTRO increased to 4.46 billion shares or 44.234%. Previously, KJP held 4.4 billion shares or 43.519%.
At the opening of trading on Wednesday (18/3), PTRO's share price stood at IDR 2,410. Its shares have corrected by 24.92% in the past week and 36.91% in the past month. (EF/KR/ZH)
