JAKARTA – PT Global Mediacom Tbk (BMTR) reported a 20.68% year-on-year (yoy) decrease in net profit to IDR 537.39 billion in 2024, down from IDR 677.55 billion in the previous year.

According to its latest financial report, the media and entertainment company generated revenue of IDR 10.05 trillion in 2024, a 1.08% decline from IDR 10.16 trillion in the same period the previous year.

Revenue from the advertising and content segment grew to IDR 8.07 trillion, while revenue from the pay-TV and broadband segment decreased to IDR 1.67 trillion, and other segments increased to IDR 313.83 billion.

Direct costs were recorded at IDR 6.01 trillion, down from IDR 6.17 trillion, resulting in accumulated gross profit of IDR 4.03 trillion, up from IDR 3.98 trillion at the end of the previous year.

According to data from IDNFinancials.com, BMTR's total assets also rose by 2.78% to IDR 36.24 trillion as of December 31, 2024, with cash and cash equivalents amounting to IDR 1.41 trillion. (DH/ZH)
