JAKARTA – Two new investors joined the sea transportation firm PT Soechi Lines Tbk (SOCI) on Monday, March 17, according to the list of changes in share ownership above 5% of the Indonesia Stock Exchange. PT Pilar Sukses Utama and PT Darma Pertiwi Raya each purchased over 2.47 billion shares, or 35.05% of SOCI. The first investor bought shares through PT Maybank Sekuritas Indonesia, while the second investor bought them through BUT Standard Chartered Bank and PT Maybank Sekuritas Indonesia.

Additionally, PT Sawit Sumbermas Sarana Tbk (SSMS) attracted a new investor. With the purchase of 777.59 million SSMS shares, PT Maybank Sekuritas Indonesia gained direct control of 8.16% of this palm oil issuer's shares.

After acquiring 15.44 million shares through two securities, Tjiputra Kusuma Widjaja is now the new owner of 7.02% of shares in issuer PT Artha Mahiya Investama Tbk (AIMS). The controller of AIMS, PT Aims Indo Investama, however, actually decreased its shareholding by 11.44 million shares, leaving about 61.06% of the company's shares.

The majority owner of PT Nusantara Infrastructure Tbk (META), PT Metro Pacific Tollways Indonesia, is extending its hold on the company by acquiring about 150 million additional shares through PT BCA Sekuritas. 96.91% of this building contractor issuer's shares are now owned by this investor.

However, through PT Pacific Sekuritas Indonesia, PT Capital Strategic Invesco sold 3.6 billion shares of PT Capital Financial Indonesia Tbk (CASA). This controller lowered its ownership stake to 60.45%.

Similarly, PT Rukun Raharja Tbk, sold over 145 million shares of oil and gas investment business PT Raharja Energi Cepu Tbk (RATU), reducing this controller's stake to 70%. The transaction was completed through PT Henan Putihrai Sekuritas.

By selling 1.66 million shares of palm oil issuer PT Nusantara Sawit Sejahtera Tbk (NSSS), PT Nusantara Makmur Lestari executed the subsequent share reduction. After shares were sold through PT Panin Sekuritas Tbk, its share percentage decreased somewhat to 9.61%.

Lastly, 1.18 million shares of ceramics manufacturer PT Arwana Citramulia Tbk (ARNA) were released by foreign investor BBH Luxembourg S/A Fidelity Funds through Citibank N.A., with the remaining shares representing approximately 6.95%. (KD/ZH)
