JAKARTA – PT Platinum Wahab Nusantara Tbk (TGUK), the beverage company behind the Teguk brand, is preparing to expand into the international market by opening franchises in Australia in the second quarter of 2025.

With its planned expansion into Australia, TGUK aims to introduce the Teguk brand to the global market with a more efficient and competitive business model.

TGUK management also revealed that this expansion or Teguk Abroad, is part of the company’s turn around strategy through broadening its business reach.

“In addition to international expansion, TGUK is implementing a vertical strategy by maximising the productivity of its existing outlets and focusing on high-profit product categories and product innovations to attract more customers,” the company said in a statement on Wednesday (19/3).

TGUK also has a horizontal strategy, focusing on expanding its customer base and maintaining profitability, which has been impacted by rising online delivery costs.

To address this, the company has prepared several initiatives, including event sales (Teguk Big Order), Teguk Drive Thru services, home delivery for large orders (Teguk Party), and optimising digital media for Teguk Online Orders.

On Wednesday (19/3), TGUK’s stock price surged 17.31%, from IDR 52 to IDR 61 per share. (DK/ZH)
