HATM reviews rights issue plan, how much will it raise?

JAKARTA – PT Habco Trans Maritima Tbk (HATM) is reviewing a rights issue plan to strengthen the company’s business strategy.
Andrew Kam, President Director of HATM, stated that the funds from this corporate action will be used to meet the capital expenditure (capex) needs for the 2025 financial year.
HATM has allocated approximately IDR 500 billion in capex for 2025, according to Andrew, an increase of 25% from the company’s capex budget in 2024.
HATM plans to allocate around IDR 400 billion for fleet expansion and IDR 100 billion for vessel maintenance.
“The funds will be used to support fleet expansion while also strengthening the capital structure amid a positive industry outlook,” Andrew said during a press conference on Wednesday (19/3).
Earlier, on Tuesday (18/3), HATM’s Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM) agreed to retain the company’s 2024 net profit of IDR 114.53 billion and not distribute dividends.
According to Andrew, this decision is a strategic step for HATM to fund capital expenditure and support the company’s sustainable business growth. (DH/KR/ZH)
