JAKARTA – The controlling shareholder of PT Soechi Lines Tbk (SOCI), PT Soechi Group, has divested 66.70% of its shares to two new investors: PT Pilar Sukses Utama (PSU) and PT Darma Pertiwi Raya (DPR).

PSU and DPR each acquired a 33.35% stake from Soechi Group in SOCI. The transaction took place on March 17, 2025 at a price of IDR 140 per share.

Paula Marlina, Director and Corporate Secretary of SOCI, stated that PSU and DPR previously held only 120 million shares or 1.70% of SOCI before the transaction. With this acquisition, PSU and DPR have replaced Soechi Group as the controlling shareholders of SOCI.

“The purpose of this transaction is part of an internal reorganisation carried out by the group through direct ownership of shares,” Paula said in an official statement on Thursday (20/3).

As previously reported by IDNFinancials.com, SOCI completed the acquisition of a Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) vessel with a capacity of 74,000 DWT. Following the acquisition, the company now operates 31 vessels with a total capacity of 1.65 million DWT.

This acquisition, Paula mentioned on a different occasion, is part of the company’s “commitment” to strengthen its business in the promising LNG industry. The fleet expansion is expected to boost the company’s revenue in 2025. (EF/KR/ZH)
