BBCA executives buy shares at their lowest price in the past two years

JAKARTA – A number of directors and commissioners of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) collectively increased their shareholdings in BBCA as its price hit the lowest level in two years.
BBCA’s Corporate Secretary, Raymon Yonarto, stated that all share purchases by the company’s directors and commissioners were made for investment purposes. All of the shares, Raymon explained in a public disclosure on Thursday (20/3), are directly owned by the individual directors and commissioners.
The transactions took place on March 18, 2025, involving at least 10 directors and 3 commissioners who purchased BBCA shares on the same day.
The directors’ share purchases totalled 4.18 million shares, while the 3 commissioners collectively bought 2.12 million shares, bringing the total number of shares purchased to 6.31 million.
According to IDNFinancials.com, BBCA's share price on 18 March 2025 hit its lowest level at IDR 8,075 per share. This marks the lowest position for BBCA shares in 2.2 years, or since January 16, 2023.
