Aguan's son becomes President Commissioner of ERAA

JAKARTA – PT Erajaya Swasembada Tbk (ERAA) has appointed Alexander Halim Kusuma as President Commissioner, following the agreement reached during an Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS) held on 19 March 2025.
Alexander Halim Kusuma is the son of the conglomerate Sugianto Kusuma, better known as Aguan.
“This appointment is effective from the close of the EGMS until the end of the term in accordance with the Company’s Articles of Association, while adhering to capital market regulations,” ERAA Management stated in an official release on Friday (21/3).
The decision follows the consecutive resignations of several key executives, including the company's founder, Ardy Hady Wijaya.
Alexander replaces Ardy Hady Wijaya, who previously served as President Commissioner.
In addition to Ardy, three other directors, namely Elly, Mitchella Ardy Hady Wijaya, and Keith Ardy Hady Wijaya—members of the founding family—also resigned.
As previously reported by IDNFinancials.com, Aguan's wife, Rebecca Halim, has long been a major shareholder with a 32.04% stake through PT Eralink International.
Last week, Rebecca also purchased 65.88 million ERAA shares at a price of IDR 360-364 per share.
“The purpose of the transaction is for investment with direct share ownership status,” said Amelia Allen, Head of Legal & Corporate Secretary of ERAA, in a press release. (DK/KR/ZH)
