Payout ratio shrinks, TMAS distributes dividend of IDR 4 per share

JAKARTA – PT Temas Tbk (TMAS), a transportation and logistics company, has approved the distribution of a cash dividend totalling IDR 228.2 billion or IDR 4 per share for the fiscal year 2024.
This decision was made during the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (RUPST) held in Jakarta on Monday (24/3).
Ricky Effendi, President Director of TMAS, stated that this dividend distribution reflects the company’s commitment to providing added value to its shareholders.
“In addition, the unallocated retained earnings are recorded at IDR 493.3 billion,” Ricky mentioned during a public presentation on Monday (24/3).
With this allocation, TMAS’s Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR) for the fiscal year 2024 stands at 31.65%, compared to 56% in the previous year.
The decrease in TMAS’s dividend payout in 2024 is tied to its slower financial performance. This can be seen in revenue growth, which was only 1% year-on-year (yoy), reaching IDR 4.34 trillion in 2024, compared to IDR 4.30 trillion in the previous year.
Meanwhile, TMAS’s net profit fell 11% to IDR 721 billion in 2024, down from IDR 815 billion in 2023.
“We will continue striving to enhance efficiency and seek growth opportunities that can maximise returns for shareholders,” Ricky added. (DK/KR/ZH)
