JAKARTA – PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) has approved the distribution of dividends during its Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) held in Jakarta on Monday (24/3).

The total dividend to be distributed reaches IDR 51.73 trillion, or IDR 345 per share for the financial year 2024. This amount is an increase from the previous year’s dividend, which amounted to IDR 48.10 trillion.

According to data from IDNFinancials.com, BBRI recorded a consolidated net profit of IDR 60.15 trillion for the financial year 2024, with 86% allocated for dividends.

Earlier, on January 15, 2025, BBRI had already paid an interim dividend of IDR 20.33 trillion, or IDR 135 per share.

As a result, the remaining dividend to be paid amounts to IDR 31.40 trillion. Out of this total, IDR 27.68 trillion will be transferred to the state, including the previously paid interim dividend of IDR 10.88 trillion.

Although there is an increase, this dividend distribution has been made with consideration of a strong capital structure and adequate liquidity to support business expansion and risk mitigation.

"The company’s capital adequacy ratio (CAR) is projected to remain above 19% in the long term," said BRI Corporate Secretary, Agustya Hendy Bernadi. (DK/ZH)
