Emtek continues to add SCMA shares

JAKARTA – On Friday, March 21, PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi Tbk, also known as Emtek, was recognized in the list of changes in share ownership exceeding 5% of the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Emtek kept purchasing SCMA shares. Through PT Mirae Asset Sekuritas Indonesia, this controller purchased 178.34 million shares of PT Surya Citra Media Tbk (SCMA), giving them a 63.57% ownership stake.
Then, PT Harimas Tunggal Perkasa acquired 65.78 million shares in PT Impack Pratama Industri Tbk (IMPC), a manufacturer of plastic building materials. With overall ownership of 19.85%, the investor bought the shares through PT Ciptadana Sekuritas Asia.
Thereafter, PT Eralink International acquired about 26.66 million shares of PT Erajaya Swasembada Tbk (ERAA), resulting in a 16.33% stake of the company's shares. PT Trimegah Sekuritas Indonesia Tbk was used to make the purchase.
Additionally, two primary shareholders seemed to buy more shares. Through PT BNI Sekuritas, PT Kreasi Jasa Persada purchased 2.66 million shares of PT Petrosea Tbk (PTRO), a mining and oil and gas business, while PT Griyainsani Cakrasadaya purchased 1.50 million shares of PT Mitra Keluarga Karyasehat Tbk (MIKA), a hospital operator, through PT Mandiri Sekuritas. Griyainsani currently owns 64.12% of MIKA, while Kreasi Jasa owns 44.38% of PTRO.
However, the biggest stake decrease was done by PT Manunggal Prime Development, which sold 65.05 million shares of PT Alam Sutera Realty Tbk (ASRI), a real estate developer. Their shares fell to 26.28% as a result of the transaction via PT Maybank Sekuritas Indonesia.
Then, with a 5.45% stake, Djoni sold 1.79 million shares of PT Remala Abadi Tbk (DATA), an internet service provider. Additionally, 1.52 million shares of PT Nusantara Sawit Sejahtera (NSSS) Tbk were sold by PT Nusantara Makmur Lestari. This investor still owns 5.45% of this palm oil manufacturer.
Foreign investors were also observed selling shares. First, BBH Luxembourg S/A Fidelity Funds sold one million shares of PT Surya Pertiwi Tbk (SPTO), a distributor of TOTO, a Japanese bathroom product, through Citibank, N.A. Next, INV Management Pte Ltd sold 679 thousand shares of PT ITSEC Asia Tbk (CYBR), a provider of cybersecurity solutions. INV Management currently owns 45.05% of CYBR, while BBH Luxembourg's share fraction dropped to 5.14% of SPTO. (KD)
