JAKARTA – On Tuesday, March 25, foreign investor transactions concluded with a net buy on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Foreign net buy volume was 77.12 million shares today, compared to 101.72 million shares of net sell the previous trading day.

The volume of foreign trade today was lower than that of the previous trading day, March 24, when over 3.6 billion shares were traded. Roughly 3.06 billion shares were purchased by foreign buyers today, representing the total volume of foreign buys. Today, foreign investors registered a net buy of 77.12 million shares, with a sales volume (foreign sell) of 2.98 billion shares.

Today's biggest net buy is in PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI). This banking issuer's foreign investors purchased over 210 million shares and sold just around 117 million, resulting in a net buy of 92.79 million shares for BBRI.

The issuer of renewable energy, PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA), came next with a net buy of 84.71 million shares. Only 1.57 million shares were sold by OASA, compared to 86.28 million shares that were bought abroad.

Then, PT Astrindo Nusantara Infrastuktur Tbk (BIPI)'s foreign investors sold 9.42 million shares of this issuer and purchased 55.07 million. The energy infrastructure company saw a net buy of 45.64 million shares.

With a net buy of 29.45 million shares, foreigners purchased over 46.5 million shares of the real estate company PT MNC Land Tbk (KPIG) and sold 17.04 million shares.

Foreigners also purchased shares of PT Smartfren Telecom Tbk (FREN) without selling a single share, resulting in a net buy volume of 25.90 million shares at the end of the listing.

However, with a net sell of 156.05 million shares, PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA) shares were the top seller. 52.08 million shares were purchased by foreigners from this e-commerce issuer, while almost 208.14 million were sold.

With 832.09 million shares purchased and 920.53 million sold, the volume of GOTO shares of PT GOTO Gojek Tokopedia Tbk was actually significantly greater than that of BUKA. But with 88.44 million shares, GOTO's net sell came in second.

A net sell of 54.08 million shares of PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS) followed next. This mineral mining issuer had 114.73 million shares sold and 60.64 million shares purchased by foreign investors.

With net sell volumes of 25 million shares each, the retail firm PT Mitra Adiperkasa Tbk (MAPI) and the mining contractor company PT Darma Henwa Tbk (DEWA) are the final issuers on this list. In contrast to MAPI, whose foreign investors bought 24.17 million shares and sold 49.23 million, DEWA's bought 37.14 million shares and sold 62.23 million. (KD)
