Karya Supra Perkasa to inject capital into ACST via private placement

JAKARTA – PT Karya Supra Perkasa (KSP) will increase the capital of PT Acset Indonusa Tbk (ACST) through a private placement. KSP controls 87.69% of ACST’s total outstanding shares.
According to a disclosure on Wednesday (26/3), Kadek Ratih Paramita A, Corporate Secretary of ACST, announced that the company will issue 5 billion shares, representing 39% of the total issued and fully paid shares.
"KSP has expressed interest in taking the maximum of 5 billion shares with a nominal value of IDR 100 per share," she said.
The company will utilise the proceeds from this corporate action to strengthen its capital structure, support business development, and improve its financial position.
She also mentioned that ACST requires approval from several banks for this plan, including PT Bank OCBC NISP Tbk (NISP), PT Bank Permata Tbk (BNII), PT Bank CIMB Niaga Tbk (BNGA), PT Bank HSBC Indonesia, Standard Chartered Bank, PT Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk (BDMN), and PT SMBC Indonesia Tbk (BTPN).
Currently, ACST’s issued and fully paid capital stands at IDR 1.26 trillion, with shareholders comprising KSP at 87.69% and the public at 12.31%.
After the private placement, ACST’s issued and fully paid capital will increase to IDR 1.76 trillion, with KSP holding 91.2% and the public 8.8%. (LK/ZH)
