Happy Hapsoro acquires 9% stake in SINI

JAKARTA – Hapsoro Sukmonohadi, commonly known as Happy Hapsoro and the ultimate beneficiary of PT Basis Energi Prima, has acquired 43.29 million shares or 9% of PT Singaraja Putra Tbk (SINI).
At a price of IDR 1,000 per share, Happy Hapsoro spent IDR 43.29 billion for the transaction, which took place on March 25, 2025.
Erick Tonny Tjandra, President Director of SINI, stated that Happy Hapsoro bought SINI shares from Batubara Development Pte Ltd (BBD), which sold 72.15 million shares, or 15%, for IDR 72.15 billion.
On the same day, BBD also sold 28.86 million SINI shares to PT Autum Prima Indonesia (API) at the same price. After this transaction, API owns 173.16 million shares or 36% of the company, up from 30%.
Following the transaction, BBD’s stake in SINI decreased from 31.22% to 16.22%, meaning BBD is no longer the controlling shareholder of SINI.
"The transaction is for investment purposes, with direct share ownership status," said Erick in an official statement on Tuesday (25/3).
As of 2:53 PM WIB on Wednesday (25/3), SINI shares surged 9.38% to IDR 2,450. On an annual basis, SINI's share price has soared 250%, or 1,750 points. (EF/KR/ZH)
