JAKARTA – PT Kreasi Jasa Persada (KJP) has increased its investment by IDR 36.76 billion to maintain its controlling stake in PT Petrosea Tbk (PTRO) last week.

Anto Broto, Corporate Secretary of PTRO, stated that KJP acquired 15.19 million shares at an average price of IDR 2,419 per share on March 18 and 19, 2025.

"The purpose of the transaction is for investment," he said, quoting the disclosure of information on Wednesday (26/3). Following the transaction, KJP’s total shares increased from 4.46 billion (44.2%) to 4.47 billion (44.4%).

As of February 2025, PTRO’s total shares stood at 10.08 billion, with the shareholder structure consisting of Controlling 41.519% and Non-controlling 58.481%.

There were 55,301 registered shareholders, with Prajogo Pangestu as the ultimate beneficial owner of the shares.

Over the past week, PTRO's share price dropped by 7.89% or IDR 210, reaching IDR 2,440. As of the second trading session on Wednesday (26/3) at 15:00 WIB, PTRO's shares rose by 4.27% or IDR 100.

The stock opened at IDR 2,360, with the highest price recorded at IDR 2,490 and the lowest at IDR 2,350 per share. (LK/ZH)
