MDKA ready to repay maturing bonds worth IDR 310 billion

JAKARTA – PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk (MDKA) is set to repay the principal and interest of bonds maturing on 28 April 2025.
Adi Adriansyah Sjoekri, Corporate Secretary of MDKA, stated that the company is preparing to pay the principal and twelfth interest instalment of the Sustainable Bonds III Phase II 2022 Series A.
"The company has allocated funds for bonds with an interest rate of 7.80% per annum," he said in a disclosure on Wednesday (26/3).
According to him, the company will transfer funds to PT Kustodian Sentral Efek Indonesia (KSEI) for the payment of the bond’s principal and interest on 28 April 2025.
MDKA issued these bonds worth IDR 310 billion on 9 May 2022, with interest paid regularly every three months.
In terms of stock performance, MDKA was up 7.78% or IDR 105 to IDR 1,455 during the second trading session at 15:36 WIB on Wednesday (26/3). The stock opened at IDR 1,415, with the highest level reaching IDR 1,465 and the lowest at IDR 1,375 per share. Over the past week, MDKA shares rose 1.39% or IDR 20 per share. (LK/ZH)
