JAKARTA – The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) is closely monitoring the trading of PT Acset Indonusa Tbk (ACST) shares due to an equity deficiency reported in its 2024 financial statements.

Teuku Fahmi Ariandar, Head of the Supervision, Litigation, and Law Enforcement Division at IDX, stated that the monitoring became effective on (27/3).

"The criteria for securities under special monitoring are those with negative equity in their latest financial report," he said in a disclosure on Wednesday (26/3).

ACST reported an equity deficiency of IDR 140.99 billion in 2024, down 135.59% from 2023, when it recorded IDR 396.05 billion in equity. Despite a 35.03% increase in revenue to IDR 3.17 trillion from IDR 2.34 trillion, its losses grew by 112.59% to IDR 547.32 billion from IDR 270.14 billion.

The company’s shares rose 13.16% or IDR 10 to IDR 86 at the close of trading on Wednesday (26/3). The stock opened at IDR 76, which was also its lowest price of the day, while the highest reached IDR 94 per share. (LK/ZH)
