JAKARTA – PT Daya Intiguna Yasa Tbk (MDIY), the retail company behind the MR DIY store network, recorded a net profit of IDR 1.1 trillion in 2024, marking a 205.6% year-on-year (yoy) increase.

This growth was supported by MDIY’s revenue, which surged 73.9% to IDR 6.8 trillion in 2024.

MDIY President Director, Edwin Cheah, emphasised that this achievement was a result of the company’s expansion strategy, which focused not only on growth but also on business sustainability.

“MDIY is well-positioned to continue strengthening its leadership in Indonesia’s home improvement retail sector,” said Edwin in an official statement on Wednesday (26/3).

Chief Financial Officer Rika Juniaty added that the company successfully generated operational cash flow of IDR 1.3 trillion in 2024, a 62.1% increase from the previous year.

“This reflects a robust financial structure to support long-term growth,” Rika noted.

For additional context, MDIY added 270 MR DIY stores in 2024, bringing the total number of MR DIY outlets in Indonesia to 961, spread across 389 cities in 37 provinces as of 2024. (DK/KR/ZH)
