Shares down 57.30%, IDX monitors TRUS

JAKARTA - The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) is monitoring the movement of PT Trust Finance Indonesia Tbk (TRUS) shares due to unusual market activity (UMA).
Yulianto Aji Sadono, Head of the IDX Transaction Monitoring Division, said that there had been an unusual decline in TRUST's share price. ‘The announcement of UMA does not necessarily indicate a violation of the laws and regulations in the capital market,’ he said in an information disclosure on Thursday (27/3).
According to him, the IDX had warned of UMA on TRUS shares on 13 December 2024.
The company's shares fell 9.30% or Rp60 to Rp580 in the first session at 10.15am, Thursday (27/3). The price opened at Rp645, the highest was Rp650, and the lowest was Rp545 per share. In a week, the shares corrected 57.30% or Rp 785 per share and fell 60.40% or Rp 900 in a month.
He conveyed that his party continues to pay close attention to the development of TRUS stock transaction patterns. Investors are expected to be more careful in a number of related information, TRUS's answers to stock exchange requests for confirmation, performance and information disclosure. In addition, it is necessary to review the company's corporate action plan if the plan has not yet received approval from the General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS) and consider various possibilities that could potentially arise in the future before investing.
