JAKARTA – PT Petrosea Tbk (PTRO) has established a new entity named PT Portus Bara Jaya (PBJ). This subsidiary was formed through one of PTRO's entities, PT Petrosea Infrastruktur Nusantara (PIN), on 26 March 2025.

Anto Broto, Corporate Secretary of PTRO, stated that the establishment of PBJ aims to support business activities and expand its network, particularly in the mining services and trading sectors. In addition, PBJ will also operate in professional, scientific, and technical activities.

PIN and PT Lautan Hutan Lestari (LHL) each hold a 50% stake in PBJ, with an investment of IDR 81.34 billion contributed. The total investment used to establish PBJ amounts to IDR 162.68 billion.

“The establishment of PBJ will have a positive impact on the company," explained Anto in an official statement on Thursday (27/3).

In today's first trading session, PTRO’s stock price fell 0.41% to IDR 2,430. Meanwhile, since the beginning of the year, the stock price of this Prajogo Pangestu-owned company has declined by 12.9%. (EF/KR/ZH)
