CMNT explores market expansion this year

JAKARTA - PT Cemindo Gemilang Tbk (CMNT) will expand its market coverage in domestic and overseas markets in 2025, as demand strengthens in the fourth quarter of 2024.
Ameesh Anand, Corporate Secretary of CMNT, said that the positive recovery began to appear at the end of 2024 and continued to strengthen in early 2025. ‘The trend shows growth in both sales volume and price, indicating promising market growth,’ he said in a stock exchange filing on Friday (28/3).
According to Mr Ameesh, demand for CMNT products in the domestic and export markets will continue to increase. Therefore, Mr Ameesh said, CMTN will strengthen its key markets and expand its reach at home and abroad, through a deeper penetration strategy.
CMNT expects sales of Rp8.85 trillion by 2024, consisting of sales of Cement and Slag products of Rp7.98 trillion, Concrete of Rp787.02 billion, and Other Products of Rp82.94 billion.
CMNT's sales with third parties in the domestic market were recorded at IDR6.70 trillion and related parties at IDR2.15 trillion.
Interestingly, CMNT again exported cement products through third parties to Vietnam, with total sales of IDR540.25 billion. In the previous year, the company did not record sales of cement products through third parties to Vietnam.
‘The company is also taking strategic steps to improve financial and operational resilience,’ he said. (LK/LM)
