JAKARTA - The Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) of PT Bank Mega Tbk (MEGA) approved the appointment of Heriwan Gazali as director.

Heriwan Gazali replaces C. Guntur Triyudianto, who previously resigned. In addition to Guntur, Lay Diza Larentie also resigned as vice president director, but her replacement has not yet been named.

In addition, the AGM also approved the distribution of dividends totalling IDR1.05 trillion. This dividend value is equivalent to 40% of the company's net profit in 2024.

Meanwhile, the rest of MEGA's net profit of IDR1.58 trillion will be recorded as retained earnings, and set aside as a reserve fund, to fulfil the provisions of Article 70 of the Company Law.

In terms of finance, MEGA posted a net profit of IDR2.63 trillion in 2024, down 25.07% from the previous year which reached IDR3.51 trillion.

‘The improvement in CASA composition was due to an increase in current accounts of IDR10.38 trillion (up 2.54%) and savings of IDR17.19 trillion (up 9.74%),’ said Bank Mega Management in its statement, Thursday (27/3) yesterday. (DH/KR/LM)
