MEGA joins BMRI syndicated credit to GEMS

JAKARTA - PT Bank Mega Tbk (MEGA) has joined as a creditor in the syndicated loan from PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI) to PT Golden Energy Mines Tbk (GEMS and its affiliates.
Sudin, Corporate Secretary of GEMS, stated that MEGA has effectively become an additional creditor in the syndicated loan to both direct and indirect subsidiaries with an accordion limit of up to US$20 million. "This will support the company's operational performance and strengthen its financial condition," he said in a disclosure of information quoted on Wednesday (April 2).
BMRI's syndicated loan will target GEMS, PT Borneo Indobara (BIB), PT Kuansing Inti Makmur (KIM), PT Barasentosa Lestari (BSL), PT Roundhill Capital Indonesia (RCI), and PT Karya Mining Solutions (KMS).
MEGA's entry as a member of BMRI's syndicated loan occurred last week (March 21).
Based on events after the reporting period in the 2024 Financial Report, the company signed Addendum III to the syndicated loan agreement on January 31, 2025, regarding the approval to release the company's and Borneo's vehicle collateral. (LK/LM)
