JAKARTA - PT Sumber Global Energy Tbk (SGER) posted 18.89% revenue growth, but its profit slid 4.25% in 2024 from 2023. The decline in profit was influenced by an increase in general and administrative expenses, including financial expenses.

Citing the 2025 Financial Report on Wednesday (2/4), Welly Thomas, President Director of SGER said that revenue was recorded at IDR 14.76 trillion, up from IDR 12.31 trillion, gross profit flattened to IDR 1.02 trillion from IDR 1.05 trillion, and gross profit margin was 6.97%, down from the previous year's gross profit margin at 8.59%.

SGER's revenue was mostly from Coal commodities at Rp14.20 trillion, up from Rp12.21 trillion, Nickel Rp474.21 billion, up from Rp85.81 billion, Palm Oil Products Rp43.63 billion, Silica Sand and Granite Dust Rp30.49 billion, and Solar Rp2.71 billion each up from nil, and Contractors Rp2.33 billion down from Rp9.40 billion.

Customers with contributions above 10% were Viet Phat Import Trading Investment JSC IDR2.97 trillion and Vietnam Ocean Shipping Join Stock IDR1.97 trillion.

The company posted a profit before income tax of IDR 810.94 billion, down 3.56% from IDR 840.91 billion and profit attributable to the parent entity of IDR 658.69 billion, down from IDR 687.94 billion. (LK/LM)
