JAKARTA - PT Hanjaya Mandala Sampoerna Tbk (HMSP) revenue grew 1.63%, but the company's net profit fell 17.92% in 2024 from 2023. The increase in cost of revenue led to a decrease in gross profit in the same period.

Citing the 2024 Financial Report on Thursday (3/4), The Ivan Cahyadi, President Director of HMSP said that the company's sales were recorded at Rp117.88 trillion, up from Rp115.98 trillion. Sales to the domestic market totalled IDR116.04 trillion or 98.84% of total revenue and the remaining 1.16% or IDR1.83 trillion was export revenue.

Sales in the domestic market consisted of; Machine-made Clove Cigarettes (SKM) Rp66.24 trillion, down from Rp68.92 trillion, Hand-made Clove Cigarettes (SKT) Rp40.22 trillion, up from Rp35.94 trillion, Machine-made White Cigarettes (SPM) Rp6.83 trillion, down from Rp8, 06 trillion, Hand White Cigarettes (SPT) Rp910.62 billion, up from Rp999.60 billion, Smoke-Free Products Rp1.70 trillion, up from Rp953.13 billion, and Others Rp125.16 billion, up from Rp91.71 billion.

The company posted a gross profit of IDR18.53 trillion, down 4.12% from IDR19.33 trillion and a gross profit margin of 15.72%, corrected from the gross profit margin of 16.66% in 2023. In line with that, profit before income tax fell 9.69% to IDR8.68 trillion from IDR10.31 trillion and profit attributable to the parent entity fell to IDR6.64 trillion from IDR8.09 trillion. (LK/LM)
