JAKARTA - A number of Indonesian banks have started selling US dollars at a higher price than the spot market, as of 6 April 2025.

PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBNI) set the highest selling rate at IDR 16,955 per US dollar. Meanwhile, PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) priced the selling rate at IDR 16,940 per US dollar.

The US dollar exchange rate against the rupiah on the spot market was still at Rp16,652.5 according to Bloomberg data, at the close of trading on Saturday (5/4) yesterday.

Based on monitoring on various Indonesian banks' websites, the following are the buying and selling rates of the US dollar against the rupiah:
