BMHS net profit jumps 60% in 2024

JAKARTA – PT Bundamedik Tbk (BMHS), the operator of the Bunda Hospital network, recorded a 60.1% year-on-year (yoy) surge in net profit in 2024, supported by moderate revenue growth and a reduction in tax expenses.
BMHS’s net revenue grew 4.5%, from IDR 1.5 trillion to IDR 1.6 trillion in 2024, driven by higher contributions from the inpatient segment, which rose to IDR 560.7 billion, the outpatient segment, which grew to IDR 558 billion, and the in vitro fertilisation (IVF) segment, which increased to IDR 530 billion.
Although operational expenses continued to weigh on BMHS’s performance, its tax burden fell by 21.4% to IDR 19.7 billion in 2024.
This allowed the company to record a net profit of IDR 11.9 billion in 2024, a significant increase from IDR 7.5 billion in 2023.
Thus, its earnings per share (EPS) saw an upturn to IDR 1.4. In terms of stock price, BMHS shares closed higher at IDR 228 on Thursday, March 27, 2025, though the stock has fallen 8.8% year-to-date. (ZH)
