Two investors in PT Sumber Energi Andalan (ITMA) were observed selling shares of the mining and energy consulting services company on Wednesday, July 17. With 21.16 million shares, PT Fersindo Nusa Jaya was the first investor, and as a result, his ownership stake decreased from 12.56% to 10.44%. Additionally, 133,500 ITMA shares were sold by PT Majukarya Mandiri Indonesia, which saw a minor drop in ownership from 6.2% to 6.19%.

Foreign selling volume hit 2.70 billion shares, net foreign volume closed at -158.40 million shares reaching 2.70 billion shares. One of the largest contributors to this figure was the selling of shares in the digital company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO), which were sold for 1.08 billion shares with a net volume of -153.23 million shares. The foreign buying volume was 2.54 billion shares, and the net foreign volume was closed at -158.40 million shares.

Through participation in a private placement, HSBC Bank Plc, a foreign investor, acquired over 224.77 million shares of PT Apexindo Pratama Duta Tbk (APEX) on Tuesday, July 16. This investor instantly acquired 6.34% of the issuer's shares through PT Bank HSBC Indonesia. The issuer provides onshore and offshore drilling services to the oil and gas, geothermal, and methane gas industries. Aside from that, the impact of APEX's private placement caused two of its biggest investors to see a decrease in their share portions, even though the total number of shares held remained unchanged. PT Aserra Capital, the owner of 1.89 billion shares, used to own 64.69% of the shares, but as of right now, it only owns roughly 53.51%. Furthermore, Augusta Investments I Pte Ltd, a foreign investor that owns 220.76 million shares, reported a decrease in the share portion from 7.53% to 6.23%.
