Foreign sell volume hit 5.64 billion shares, resulting in 644.14 million of negative net foreign

The net foreign list on Tuesday, April 16, showed an increase in foreign selling volume, which totaled around 5.64 billion shares. Meanwhile, foreign investors only acquired a total of 4.99 billion shares, leaving net foreign volume at -644.14 million shares. The state-owned telecoms operator PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (TLKM) had the greatest net volume (-172.72 million shares) after 413.97 million shares were sold.

Foreign buy volume was around 3.44 billion shares, while foreign sell volume was 3.38 billion shares. The increased foreign buying volume resulted in a surplus in net foreign volume, although it was only around 58.99 million shares.

Foreign investors sold a significant amount of digital company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk's (GOTO) shares on Monday, February 5, with a foreign sell volume of 1.44 billion shares and a net volume of -1.11 billion shares. This figure significantly boosted the foreign sales volume to around 2.74 billion shares. Meanwhile, the foreign buy volume was only 1.87 billion shares, bringing the net foreign volume to -873.82 million.
