Foreign investors' share buying and selling activity on Friday, September 20, resulted in rather significant foreign purchasing and selling volumes, with 14.27 billion shares sold and 10.81 billion shares bought. As a result, net foreign volume closed at -3.45 billion shares. Shares in digital company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) and telecommunications company PT Smartfren Telecom Tbk (FREN) were sold in billions of shares. Foreign investors were observed selling 7.10 billion GOTO shares for a net volume of -2.25 billion shares and 2.20 billion FREN shares for a net volume of -665.05 million shares.

Foreign investors raised their stock selling activities on Tuesday, September 17, as shown by a foreign selling volume of approximately 5.45 billion shares. The sale of shares in the digital company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) was one of the largest contributors to this increase, with foreign investors selling 3.55 billion GOTO shares for a net volume of -1.41 billion shares. Meanwhile, foreign buying volume was 4.46 billion shares, bringing net foreign volume down to -987.60 million shares.

On Thursday, September 12, foreign investors purchased up to 3.62 billion shares of the digital company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO), for a net volume of 249.58 million shares. This transaction represents around 64% of the overall foreign purchase volume, which was at 5.63 billion shares. Meanwhile, foreign sales volume was not much different at 5.22 billion shares. As a result, the net foreign volume surplus at around 403.71 million shares.
