July’s inflation at 3.08%, lower than last year’s record

Statistics Indonesia (lit. Badan Pusat Statistik/BPS) recorded inflation at 3.08% in July 2023, lower than 4.94% seen in July 2022.
BPS: Inflation at 4% in May 2023

Inflation in May 2023 was recorded at 4%, up from May 2022 at 3.5%. This inflation achievement shot higher compared to May 2021 which was still at 1.68%.

The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) recorded an increase in inflation at 5.47% in February 2023 compared to February 2022 at 2.06% (year on year).
