The amount of this transaction contributed to a foreign buying volume of around 2.87 billion shares and a foreign selling volume of 2.99 billion shares. On Wednesday, March 13, MUFG Bank Ltd., a Japanese bank, took over as PT Mandala Multifinance Tbk's (MFIN) new controlling shareholder. Having acquired more than 1.87 billion shares through PT Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk, this investor now holds 70.61% of the shares of the consumer finance company. Local investor PT Adira Dinamika Multi Finance Tbk also acquired 265 million MFIN shares in total, granting it immediate control over 10% of the shares.
