International tourist arrivals in November 2024 rose by 17.29% to 1.09 million compared to 931,227 visits in November 2023.

The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) recorded the number of national tourist trips (wisnas) in August 2024 to be 648.11 thousand, down 29.38% from 917.8 thousand in July 2024.

The number of international tourist visits hit 1.34 million in August 2024, up 2.23% from the previous month. However, cumulatively, it has yet to match the number of tourist visits pre-pandemic.
